Albert Charles Houghton (April 13, 1844 – August 11, 1914) was an American businessman and lawmaker who served as the chief mayor ofNorth Adams, Massachusetts.

Biography

Albert Charles Houghton was born Apr 13, 1844, in Stamford, Vermont, to James and Chloe Town. He was the youngest mutually in a family of ennead children.^[1]

Houghton married Cordelia J. Economist of Stamford in 1866. They had four children, all work whom studied in Germany.^[1]
